Facebook App<\/h2>\n

  1. Create a new Facebook App<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Get the APP ID and APP Secret.<\/li>\n
  3. After creating your App, click\u00a0Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. In the Basic section, add your domain name in the App Domains.<\/li>\n
  5. Click on\u00a0Add Platform<\/strong>\u00a0and select\u00a0Website<\/strong>\u00a0and add the same domain you added in step 4 but with\u00a0http:\/\/<\/strong>\u00a0as prefix in\u00a0Site URL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. To test the app\u00a0localhost<\/strong>, you need to create a\u00a0Virtual Host<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Installing<\/h2>\n

    1. Download the\u00a0Facebook PHP SDK<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Download\u00a0CodeIgniter<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    3. Extract CodeIgniter.<\/li>\n
    4. Extract the Facebook SDK and\n

      1. Rename facebook.php to Facebook.php<\/li>\n
      2. Add the following at the beginning of the Facebook.php file, right after the php opening tag.\n

        How this example will work with OAuth<\/h2>\n

        In OAuth, the procedure is the following:<\/p>\n

        1. The user clicks on a sign in link on your website.<\/li>\n
        2. User is redirected to Facebook, enter his credentials, authorize your app.<\/li>\n
        3. Facebook then redirects the user back to your application with data.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
